What materials are used to manufacture the structure of the domus acoustic booths?
El techo y el suelo de las cabinas acĆŗsticas estĆ”n fabricados con tubos de acero redondeado de 55 x 55 x 1,2mm, pasamano de 19 x 3mm, tubo cuadrado de 30 x 30 x 2mm y chapa de 1,2mm cortados con lĆ”ser, doblados y soldados.
The outer side panels are made from 1.2 mm thick cold-rolled steel sheet, bent and welded, with machining to integrate ventilation and electrical components: switches and power outlets.
The vertical and horizontal reinforcements are made of 1.2 mm thick steel sheet. They provide rigidity to the side panels and provide mounting points for electrical components and wooden panels.
Finally, attached vertically to the ends of the outer side panels are 2-mm thick aluminium profiles (6063-T5).
What level of sound insulation do domus acoustic booths provide?
Each domus booth model provides Class A acoustic privacy, certified under ISO 23351-1. It consists of four insulation layers: adhesive sheet, polyurethane foam panel, sound-absorbing foam, and PET, resulting in advanced soundproofing. The booths offer the following levels of sound insulation:

Does the acoustic booth include any kind of built-in lighting?
Yes, it features a lighting system with recessed LED panels and ambient light, controlled by a sensor.

How long does it take to assemble an acoustic booth?
The booths are made of pre-assembled panels, which makes assembly, disassembly, and maintenance much easier. Depending on the size of the booth and the number of technicians involved, assembly time can range from 20 to 50 minutes.
What are the dimensions and weight of the booth upon delivery?
You should consider the size and weight of the acoustic booth package when planning transport to the installation site, and make sure the route allows for the following minimum dimensions and load capacity (if required):

What are the minimum space requirements for installing a booth?
The final location must have a minimum ceiling height of 240 cm, a sturdy and durable floor capable of supporting the movement of the acoustic booth without damage, and enough space to allow for proper assembly.
The floor’s load-bearing capacity depending on the acoustic booth is as follows:

Where should the booth be placed?
Acoustic booths should be located in areas with high foot traffic to ensure easy access. They should be located near a power outlet and have enough clearance around the sides and top for proper operation.
Make sure the floor where the booth will be installed is strong and stable enough to support the concentrated weight at the support points (wheels or stoppers).
Can an acoustic booth be moved easily?
The acoustic booths are equipped with wheels for easier mobility. They should always be moved over firm, stable floors that are non-slip, free of irregularities, and without dangerous slopes.

Can electronic devices be connected inside the booth?
Yes. The booth has various ports and charging points to connect electronic devices inside. Do not install high-power devices, such as heaters or vacuum cleaners, inside the booths.
In 220V installations, the maximum total power is 2200W.
In 110V installations, the maximum total power is 1600W.
How is the booth ventilated to prevent heat build-up?
The booth has its own ventilation system consisting of one or more silent fans in the ceiling with adjustable airflow intensity and an exhaust fan. At maximum power, it replaces all the air in just one minute.

Can the ventilation in the booth be regulated?
domus has a control panel inside the booth to turn the circulation fans on and off and adjust their speed. This system allows users to customise the ventilation according to their needs at any time. At maximum power, all the air is replaced in just one minute.
How is the booth cleaned and maintained?
For proper maintenance, disconnect the power supply before doing any maintenance or cleaning involving moisture. Use a soft cloth dampened with water and mild soap to clean the booth. Then, dry it with another soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive products, solvents, caustic substances, or ammonia-based cleaners.
